Defender Dash Mounted 7" Monitor

Designed specifically for Defender owners looking for a clean, factory-style solution for reversing camera integration, this large 7-inch mirror-style monitor mounts neatly to the dashboard using our Monitor Mount – ORP1068.

The mount utilises the existing ashtray location on TDi and TD5 Defenders, providing a secure and discreet installation without the need for extensive modifications. For customers wishing to remove the interior rear-view mirror entirely, a matching blanking plate is also available.

Featuring a bright, high-quality 7-inch digital LCD panel with an 800 x 480 pixel resolution, this monitor delivers a clear, stable image with excellent colour reproduction. When paired with a quality camera, such as the Optimill High Quality CCD reversing camera, it provides a reliable and highly effective viewing solution for both on and off-road use.

The monitor supports two camera inputs, allowing connection of a reversing camera and an additional camera if required. It is compatible with both 12V and 24V vehicle systems and uses robust 4-pin aviation screw or phono style connectors for secure camera connections.

Important Information

To remain MOT compliant, the monitor must be securely and rigidly mounted. Suction-mounted displays are not compliant for road use.

Please note: This monitor and mount are designed for TDi and TD5 dashboards only and are not compatible with Puma (TDCi) dashboards.
