Optimill Startech Slimline Boss

This is a fixed, non-removable boss and should not be mistaken for our Quick Release Boss. It is also not compatible with the Swivel Lock. The Startech slimline boss follows the Momo bolt pattern, using M6 screws on a 74mm PCD, with alignment holes positioned at 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock when viewed from the front.

A Startech leather cover is included and fits neatly over the Optimill cap. Screws and pins required for installation are also supplied.

With a depth of only 32mm, this boss provides a noticeably different driving experience by creating significantly more space compared to most alternatives. Its shallow profile also ensures you can comfortably reach the indicators while maintaining hold of the steering wheel.

Precision-machined from a single billet of aluminium and finished with a black anodised coating, the 48/36-spline version is compatible with 2015 models as well.

Please note: due to the slim design, the Momo horn button will no longer fit. A billet aluminium Optimill cap is supplied instead.

Each boss comes with screws and indicator-cancel pins; these pins are not required on vehicles equipped with a steering angle sensor.
