TD5 / TDI Gearbox Reverse Switch Piggyback

Designed to provide a convenient reverse-switched power supply directly from the gearbox reverse switch on TD5 and TDI Defender models.

The piggyback fits inline with the existing reverse switch connection, allowing the reversing camera system to be powered when reverse gear is selected without having to splice into the wiring at the rear reverse lamp.

This creates a cleaner, neater installation and takes the power supply closer to the source of the reverse-light circuit, reducing the length of vehicle wiring between the switch and camera-system power take-off and therefore slightly reducing the potential for voltage drop compared with taking power directly from the reverse lamp.
