Enhance your Land Rover Defender’s rear door security with Optimill Security Rear Door Hinges (set of 3). CNC-machined from aerospace-grade 6082-T6 aluminium with internally pinned stainless steel hinge pins and self-lubricating graphite bushes. Anodised to 25 microns and supplied with high-security fixings.

Land Rover Defender Security Rear Door Hinges (set of 3) are designed with no visible external fixings to prevent access from outside the vehicle.

Designed and manufactured by Optimill in the UK, these hinges are CNC-machined from billets of aerospace-grade 6082-T6 aluminium for superior strength and durability. The stainless steel hinge pins are internally pinned to prevent unwanted removal, while self-lubricating graphite bushes reduce friction and prevent wear.

The superior design of these hinges eliminates the need for a separate swing-away type wheel carrier, although they remain compatible with most Defender models from 1983–2016, including panoramic glass conversions.

After machining and strict quality control, the hinges are anodised to a depth of 25 microns for durability and a premium finish. They are supplied with high-security stainless steel fixings. Please note: these hinges do not include gaskets, as Land Rover never fitted rear door gaskets.
